Recognizing Excellence in Educational Leadership

Learning Forward Texas is now accepting applications for the 2025 Outstanding Professional Learning Award. This award recognizes teams, campuses, or districts that have significantly improved student outcomes by delivering exceptional professional development programs.

This award celebrates educational leaders who successfully implement professional learning initiatives that positively impact educators and students. Winners are recognized at their district's school board meeting, the TASA Midwinter Conference, and the 2025 Learning Forward Texas Annual Conference. The winning team is also invited to present at the LFTX annual conference. Click here for a full list of past winners.

The application window is open until November 8, 2024, and it is a great opportunity to showcase your influential educational work.

To apply, candidates must:

1. Create a Google Slides or PowerPoint presentation guided by the 2025 Learning Forward Texas Award Rubric. The scoring has been updated to focus more on the measurable impact of professional learning.

2. Submit the online awards application form, including a public link to your Google Slides or PowerPoint presentation.
